Ever since grade school I’ve had a camera in my hands. In high school I used it to capture moments in time that are chronicled in three yearbooks. My love of photography led me to a career in journalism where I began to record not just snapshots in time, but events and issues that are part of a tapestry called life.
As a writer I’ve always focused on trying to help my reader understand his or her world as it relates to everyday life. Whether it’s agriculture, national politics, or local government… they all have an effect on our lives. My purpose has always been to help people understand how interconnected our lives are to everything around us.
I believe God has given me a set of skills and a passion for certain things, such as writing and photography. These are two of my God-given talents that I endeavor to use to have a positive impact on the world around me.
